On the Occasion of His 101st Birth Anniversary – 30th December 2025

Dear Friend,

Dr. G. G. Parikh — freedom fighter, socialist thinker, Gandhian, doctor, and tireless advocate for justice and equality — passed away on October 2, 2025. His life was a rare blend of moral courage, simplicity, and social commitment.

To mark his 101st birth anniversary on 30th December 2025, Janata Weekly, will publish a Souvenir dedicated to his memory. This publication will bring together writings and reflections on his life, work, and the values he embodied.

We invite you to contribute articles, tributes, reminiscences, or analytical pieces for inclusion in this Souvenir. Contributions may focus on:

1. Personal interactions and memories of Dr. G. G. Parikh
2. His role in the socialist and Gandhian movements
3. His contribution to the freedom struggle and post-independence social work
4. Reflections on his ideas on democracy, social justice, and humanism
5. The institutions and causes he nurtured, including the Yusuf Meherally Centre

Guidelines:

1. Articles may be in English, Hindi, or Marathi.
2. Recommended length: 800–1500 words.
